Our recent stay at Comfort Inn Marrero - New Orleans West was a mixed experience. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the hassle of changing rooms multiple times due to key and amenities issues, it left much to be desired. the staff, particularly Ian, went above and beyond to accommodate my husband's accessibility needs, which we truly appreciated. The convenient location allowed us to explore the nearby Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, offering a glimpse into the world of notorious pirates and buccaneers, a contrast to the bustling city of New Orleans. the close proximity to Houmas House plantation provided us with a fascinating tour of a stunning 1840 Green Revival mansion. While the complimentary breakfast boasted hearty and healthy options, we found the lack of essential amenities in our room disappointing. However, the spacious layout, comfortable bedding, and included microwave and refrigerator were definite pluses for our family. Despite some setbacks, the hotel's amenities like the seasonal outdoor pool and complimentary breakfast help create a pleasant stay.
